Tara is a lively and confident 5-year-old who loves music, art, and soccer, and is about to begin attending her new neighborhood school. She has a close bond with her mischievous younger sister and brings joy and energy to every environment. Born hard of hearing, Tara began using hearing aids at 8 weeks old and previously thrived at a special school for the hard of hearing, where she learned alongside peers with diverse hearing abilities. Now, she embraces her hearing aids as a superpower and looks forward to sharing her unique story with new classmates, helping them understand and celebrate her differences.
